Kathmandu, March 31
Following many other governments, the British government has also decided to evacuate its citizens from Nepal, which is fighting to control the coronavirus infection outbreak by introducing strict measures such as lockdown and international flight suspension.
British Ambassador to Nepal, Nicola Pollitt, informs on her Twitter account that the embassy is holding talks with the London government and airline companies to repatriate the citizens back to their country.
Though the embassy is yet to announce a date of the flight, Pollitt has clarified that the flight will not be free; those willing to go back have to pay for their ticket.
Earlier on Monday, the British government had announced to arrange chartered flights to repatriate its citizens from crisis-hit countries.
