Baitadi town declares public holiday to receive President

Kathmandu, February 26

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to visit Baitadi of Sudurpaschim province on Thursday for the inauguration of a Technical Education and Vocational Training Council (CTEVT) building built at Patan municipality-2 of the district.

The municipality has announced a public holiday on this occasion. Likewise, the municipality has also organised different programmes including civic felicitations.

President Bhandari will be going to Kailali also for a visit. After visiting Kailali, she will head to Doti from there.

“President Bhandari is coming to our municipality for the first time, so we have decided to give a public holiday throughout the municipality for her reception, ” told the municipality’s mayor Khesav Bahadur Chand.
