Infant found dead in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, January 23

An infant, who looks like to be six or seven months old, has been found dead on the bank of Dhobikhola in Chabahil of Kathmandu.

DSP Hobindra Bogati, the spokesperson at the Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu, says the body, wrapped in a cloth, was found this morning.

Police are preparing to send the body to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for the postmortem.

Bogati says they are also investigating who threw the child.
