Kathmandu, January 21

Eight Indian nations were found unconscious at a hotel in Daman of Makawanpur district, around 55 kilometre southeast of Kathmandu, on Monday morning. They have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.

The District Police Office says they were found unconscious at Everest Panorama Resort in Daman, Thaha municipality-4. The security officials suspect that the tourists had gone to bed last night while warming up their rooms with gas heaters, and it might have suffocated them. The claim, however, is yet to be verified.

The tourists have not been identified yet. Further investigation is underway.
