VNY 2020: Tourism ministry writes to all govt offices to celebrate launch of campaign

The ministry of tourism has written to all government offices to celebrate the Visit Nepal Year 2020 on December 31 and January 1.

The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has also written to all offices under it to organise special events on both of the days. An event to mark the launch of VNY 2020, under which the government plans to welcome 2 million tourists, is to be organised at Dasarath Stadium on January 1.

“We have urged all government offices to observe ‘dipawali’ on both the days,” said minister Yogesh Bhattarai. The government has already issued directives to all authorities to do their bit to promote VNY 2020.
