PPL: Biratnagar book spot in final

Biratnagar Titans have booked a spot in the final of the ongoing Pokhara Premier League and will play against Chitwan Rhinos for the title of the second edition of the tournament.

Biratnagar beat Butwal Blasters by 21 runs in the eliminator played on Thursday. The winning side posted a mammoth total of 165 runs in their 20 overs. Butwal, however, could only muster 144.

Opener Sunil Dhamala scored a half-century for Biratnagar. Skipper Dipendra Singh Airee’s 33 off 13 balls ensured a big score for Biratnagar. Harsh Tank claimed two wickets for Butwal while Avinash Bohora and Lalit Singh Bhandari took a wicket each.

The final match will be played on Saturday.
