Two injured after building collapses in Chabahil, Kathmandu

Kathmandu, October 23

Two persons were injured, after an old building being demolished collapsed near Chabahil Chok in Kathmandu, on Wednesday.

Mason Ram Bahadur Kunwar and a helper Jeevan Magar both sustained injuries after the building near KL Tower collapsed. Both are being attended at Dhirghayu Guru Hospital in Mitrapark, informed DSP Ramesh Bahadur Singh. The hospital informed that one of the injured is in a critical state while the other is stable.

A team of security personnel are currently at the site for rescue operations and to ascertain whether there are others trapped in the debris.
