Baitadi excavator attack: Investigation team reaches incident site, given 48 hours to submit report

The committee formed to investigate into the excavator attack in Baitadi, has reached the incident site. The five-member committee formed by District Administration Office, Baidati reached Dasrath Chand Municipality – 9 on Wednesday.

The committee has been given 48 hours to submit its report, informed Chief District Officer Ananda Poudel.

District Administration Office, Baidati formed the committee after the incident caused an uproar. The video of the incident, in which the excavator operator attacks protesting locals, was made public by Avenues Television.

Following the attack, the excavator operator, Kishor Bohora, has been arrested. He has been charged with attempt to murder.
