Thakur takes over as RJPN presidium coordinator

Kathmandu, September 23

Rastriya Janata Party Nepal has nominated Mahanta Thakur to lead the party’s presidium.

Thakur was appointed the presidium coordinator during a meeting held at the party office on Monday and will take assume from Monday itself. He takes over from Raj Kishor Yadav.

RJPN was formed on April 20, 2017, with the unification of various Madhes-centric political parties. RJPN’s presidium has six members who take turns leading the party. The presidium coordinator changes every six months.
