CPN (Biplav group) torches two vehicles in Makwanpur

Cadres of the Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist party vandalised and torched two vehicles in Makwanpur for ‘defying’ their ‘strike’ on  Wednesday,

According to police, suspicious objects have also been reported in various parts of the district on the day the group called for a Bagmati-Narayani shutdown to protest the arrest of the group’s Kathmandu Valley in-charge Maila Lama a few days ago.

The group torched a truck (Ba 5 Kha 1739) at Jyamire, Manahari-9 and another car (Ba 14 cha 8234) on the Fakhel-Humane Bhanjyang road section, police said.

Suspicious objects have been found in Thana Bharyang, Chauki Tol and Hupra Chaur in Hetauta. Nepali Army personnel are looking into the cases to defuse bombs that may have been planted in the area.
