Kathmandu, November 28
A police team on Tuesday night arrested three persons in possession of one kilogram undeclared gold from Balkhu of Kathmandu.
The team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Sector of Balkhu arrested them in front of local Royal Guest House at around 11 pm yesterday.
SSP Puja Singh, spokesperson at the Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu, informs that Gopal BK (28), Sanjaya Kumar Tiruwa (27) and Shiva Kumar (27) were arrested after police recovered the precious metal on their vehicle (Ba 10 Cha 8992).
Police also seized an electric scale, a pair of scissors and Rs 3.665 cash from their possession.
Police say further investigation is underway.
