Indian Petroleum Minister discuss about pipeline with Minister Yadav

Kathmandu, September 28

Minister for Commerce and Supplies Matrika Yadav and visiting Indian Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, held a meeting on Friday on the issue of progress made in the laying of petroleum pipeline joining the two countries.

During the bilateral ministerial-level meeting on the Motihari- Raxual- Amlekhgunj petroleum pipeline project, the Indian Minister apprised his Nepali counterpart on the progress made in implementing the project. The duo discussed the future of the project and its challenges.

Minister Pradhan arrived in Kathmandu on Friday for a two-day visit. Upon his arrival at the Tribhhuvan International Airport, he was received by Joint- Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Nawaraj Dhakal and Indian Ambassador for Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri.
