We’ve often seen that many Nepali filmmakers fail to recognize the value of a film’s teaser. Most of them take it very lightly and use it just to let the audience know the names of the producer and director of the film. But what they don’t understand is that a teaser must be capable of teasing the audience and leave them wanting to see some more of the film. In fact, a teaser is the first impression of a film and that’s why it might be considered even more important than the trailer.
We’re glad that the teaser of Sipora Gurung starrer ‘Yamphawati – The Princess’ succeeds in grabbing all the attention. The 47-second trailer has a plenty of exciting action sequences that actually make us want to watch the film. The film produced under the banner of Thumrow International is written and directed by Krishna Kumar Gurung. The film based on true events also stars Bal B. Gurung, Tara B. Gurung, Shakti Gurung, Dhan B. Gurung and Bhupal Gurung.
The release date for the film has not been scheduled yet but it is expected to hit the theaters later this year. Watch the teaser below and let us know what you think of it.
