Two alleged kidnappers killed in Bhaktapur police firing

Kathmandu, August 6

Two persons who had allegedly abducted an 11-year-old boy from Kandaghari of Kathmandu have been shot dead in a police firing at Doleshwor of Bhaktapur district today.

Personnel from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division, who were on the lookout for the alleged kidnappers since Sunday night, shot the two kidnappers dead after a clash with them.

However, the names of the dead have not been relieved yet. But, according to the chief of Metropolitan Police Crime Division SSP Dhiraj Pratap Singh, both seem to be of Mongolian descent in the late 20s.

A pistol, bullets and a mobile phone used to call the child’s parents has been found at the location.
