Nepal To Play At The ‘Mecca Of Cricket’ – Lord’s in England Against Home Team For A Cause

Nepal cricket team is all set to play its very first match at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. Also referred to as the ‘Mecca of Cricket’, Lord’s has witnessed some of the greatest matches ever played in the history of cricket. It’s a privilege for any cricketer to play at the ‘Home of Cricket’ where the seeds of cricket were sown over two centuries ago.

Nepal will play a one day match against the home team – Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the club that owns the ground, on July 19th. The match will take place to mark 200 years of relationship between the UK and Nepal. All the proceeds from the event will go towards rebuilding Nepal after the 2015 earthquake. The tickets are priced at £10 for adults. Children below 16 will enjoy a free entry and the people above age 65 will have to pay £5 to attend the event.

If you’re fond of cricket, you just can’t afford to miss this match. If you’re not into cricket, you still need to be there to support our heroes. And if it still doesn’t excite you, be there to support the cause. Your presence there at the event might change a life in Nepal in a good way. Be there for Nepal.

You can buy the tickets online from HERE or you can get them at the venue on the big day. For more information regarding the event, you can follow the updates on Facebook HERE.

Here’s Paras Khadka, the skipper, himself inviting you to the event. Mark your calendars!
